There are moments of beauty all around us. When mindful, we become in tune to beauty where we least expect it. Glorious moments are often fleeting.  Art turns that instant into a forever. 

 

Ever since I was a child, I have been captivated by the color and beauty of the natural world. My art strives to capture and express the emotions evoked by the vibrancy of the world around us.  My pieces create a visual story, using texture and color to connect with the viewer in an emotional context.  I use multiple layers of mixed media techniques and materials, including flowers and paper, to bring the beauty of the world, to life.  

 

I recently moved to Carpinteria, California, a small oceanside city located in Santa Barbara County. Beyond the shoreline, Carpinteria’s foothills and verdant mountains are peppered with flower nurseries, fruit orchards and horse ranches. The infinite beauty around me serves as the inspiration for my art.
